Please be advised that your data is processed by the Ordo Iuris Institute for Legal Culture Foundation, based in Warsaw at pl. Bankowy 2, 00-095 Warsaw, hereinafter referred to as the Institute, for the purpose of submitting a petition to the European Commission (President Ursula von der Leyen) and the Council of the European Union (Secretary General Thérèse Blanchet), to provide information about the progress of the campaign, and to maintain regular contact with the personal data controller in connection with its statutory objectives, in particular by providing information about organized events and other social campaigns, as well as about opportunities to support the activities of the personal data controller. The processing of your data for the above-mentioned purposes is justified by the legitimate interests pursued by the personal data controller, in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR). Providing your data is voluntary, but without it, it will not be possible to submit a petition to the European Commission and the Council of the European Union, provide information about the progress of the campaign, provide information about the implementation of the statutory objectives of the personal data controller, or provide information about opportunities to support the Controller's activities. You have the right to access your data, rectify it, transfer it, delete it, or restrict its processing, as well as the right to object to its processing. All such requests may be submitted to the Institute at the following address: pl. Bankowy 2, 00-095 Warsaw, with the note “Data Protection Officer” or by email to iod@ordoiuris.pl. The controller (i) will fulfill its information obligations towards you and the supervisory authority under the provisions on personal data protection, (ii) will ensure adequate documentation to demonstrate compliance of personal data processing with the law, (iii) implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure that the processing is carried out in accordance with the law and, if necessary, assess the impact on data protection, (iv) be responsible for applying appropriate protection mechanisms in the event of possible data transfers outside the European Economic Area (EEA). In such a case, the Controller will provide the possibility to obtain further information and receive a copy of the relevant safeguards. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Your personal data may also be accessed by entities providing services to the data controller, in particular hosting, IT, printing, shipping, payment, legal, accounting, and HR services. The personal data provided may be processed in an automated manner, including in the form of profiling. However, decisions concerning an individual related to this processing will not be automated. Your personal data will be stored by the Controller for no longer than the period of limitation of claims for violation of personal data protection regulations if we receive a request from you to delete your personal data.
