In accordance with the article 13 of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), hereinafter referred to as GDPR, we inform you that your personal data is processed by The Institute for Legal Culture Ordo Iuris with its registered office in Warsaw at Zielna Str. no. 39, 00-108 Warsaw (Poland) (hereinafter referred to as data controllers), in order to: (i) to petition the heads of state and government of EU member states (Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Ireland, Greece, Spain, France, Croatia, Italy, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Hungary, Malta, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Finland and Sweden),
(ii) inform about the campaign, (iii) maintain regular communication with data controllers in connection with its statutory purposes, in particular to inform about our social campaigns and possibilities of supporting us; processing of your personal data is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller in accordance with the article 6 paragraph 1 point (f) of the GDPR.
You provide us your personal data on a purely voluntary basis, however if you refuse to provide the requested data, we may not be able to submit a petition to the party named therein, provide information about our campaign or inform you about our statutory activities.
The recipients of your personal data will be entities rendering services for data controllers, in particular hosting, printing, postal, payment, legal, accounting, personnel and IT services.
The data controller will not use automated decision-making, including profiling.
Your personal data will be stored until the claims become statute-barred after the statutory period of limitation specified in legal regulations in force.
The Data Controller is responsible for compliance with the obligations under GDPR regarding possible data transfers outside the European Economic Area (EEA). In this case, the Data Controller shall ensure appropriate or suitable safeguards and the means by which to obtain a copy of them or where they have been made available.
Pursuant to the GDRP you shall have:
(a) the right of access to your data and to obtain a copy thereof;
(b) the right of rectification of your personal data;
(c) the right of erasure of your personal data;
(d) the right to obtain the restriction of data processing;
(e) the right to object to data processing;
(f) the right to lodge a complaint to the President of the Personal Data Office (to the address of the Personal Data Protection Office – Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland)
